Dari is an A8II star with four planets, three of which are hard, rocky planets, and one of which is a gas giant with wide rings around it. Two of the planets orbit in the human habitable zone, but only one has a breathable atmosphere, Balfor.
Balfor was once a planet flourishing with vegetation and water. Somewhere along the line it dried up and became a hardened rock with many deep canyons. It looks like a cracked marble floating in space. Some emerging sentient species live deep within the canyons. They are superstitious and paranoid of outsiders, but it is believed they hide some of the secrets of the ancient race known as the Zeborno.
